Did you see this email from Deborah?

Since returning to office, Donald Trump and his allies have escalated their attacks on the judiciary — targeting judges who refuse to align themselves with the administration or who have dared to rule against them.

As Deborah said, the Trump administration is a direct threat to the American experiment.

Undermining the courts, disregarding the law, and stacking power in the hands of billionaire loyalists is how democracies fall.

We’re fighting back, but we need your help. We’ve set a critical $8,000 mid-month fundraising goal to defend NC-02 and help flip the House blue.

Will you chip in $10 before tomorrow night to help us protect democracy and stop Trump’s dangerous agenda? >> [link removed]

---------- Forwarded message from Deborah Ross ----------

Hi there, it’s Deborah.

When I graduated from law school, I did so with a deep belief in the power of the law to create a fairer and more just society.

I saw the courts as tools to defend people’s rights, protect the vulnerable, and strengthen our democracy. That’s what led me to public service — and it’s what keeps me fighting every single day.

But right now, Donald Trump is doing everything he can to dismantle the very foundation of our democracy. He’s attacking the rule of law, undermining our democratic institutions, and surrounding himself with billionaire loyalists who put his power above the Constitution.

I cannot stress this enough: The Trump administration is a direct threat to the American experiment.

We can’t afford to sit back. The only way to stop Trump’s dangerous agenda is to win this race, flip the House blue, and restore a Democratic majority — one committed to truth, justice, and real progress.

We’ve set an ambitious mid-month fundraising goal of $8,000 — not because we’re behind, but because we’re building. Hitting this goal means laying the groundwork to protect this seat and help flip the House next year.

Will you chip in $10 today? Every dollar makes a difference in our fight to protect democracy from Trump’s relentless attacks — and ensures we have the resources to stand up, push back, and win. >> [link removed]

In this fight together,

Deborah

In 2020, Deborah became the first Democrat in over a decade to be elected to represent North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional district. In her first term, eleven pieces of legislation she introduced were signed into law. These measures increased funding for sexual assault nurse examiners, enhanced judicial ethics and transparency, and bolstered North Carolina’s offshore wind energy potential. Deborah needs your support to continue the fight for fairness, equality, and progress. Let’s do this together.
