Donald Trump has refused to support any federal assistance to save the postal service from having to close its doors, even as the agency faces running out of money by this fall due to revenue loss during the coronavirus crisis.

It’s incredibly reckless. As Americans, we haven’t had a whole lot of normalcy lately (or frankly, since the day Trump took office), but one thing we have been able to count on is the postal service’s unwavering steadiness, delivering critical mail, medicine, supplies, and packages to the American people when they need it most.

So we’re standing up to protect the postal service today. And friend, you know it’s not the first time we’ve reached out to ask for your support to save post offices -- but Donald Trump isn’t budging in his refusal to support the postal service, and we have to keep up the pressure.
