Birthright Citizenship was never meant for illegal aliens
<[link removed]>
John,
I’m writing to you today because I believe you’re an America First Patriot
who’s sick of the open borders madness.
And that’s exactly who I’m hoping to reach with my Birthright Citizenship
Survey.
Would you be able to set aside five minutes to fill out the survey linked here?

We’re launching a nationwide campaign to educate and activate American
patriots on the real intention of Birthright Citizenship...
...and the real disaster it has become for American workers and American
citizens.
And that all starts with this Birthright Citizenship Survey that I’m asking
you to complete today.

Despite what the mainstream media and too many low-level judges are saying,
Birthright Citizenship for tourists and illegal aliens is not written into the
Constitution.
Rather, the 14th Amendment that contains Birthright Citizenship was enacted to
grant full citizenship to the slaves freed by Abraham Lincoln — along with
their children and their children’s children.
It was not meant to apply to foreign visitors...
And it was definitely not for illegal aliens.
In fact, the text of the 14th Amendment clearly states that it only applies to
“persons born or naturalized in the United States,AND subject to the
jurisdiction thereof.”
But over time, government bureaucrats stretched the 14th Amendment and
automatically gave U.S. citizenship to every birth to illegal aliens, and even
to foreign nationals vacationing in the United States.
Now, the situation has gotten completely out of hand…
In 2023 alone, there were roughly 350,000 births to illegal aliens in the U.S.
Tourists gave birth to another 40,000.
These so-called “anchor babies” can keep illegal alien parents from getting
deported and give a legal basis for a whole chain of migrants to push their way
into America.
Is it any surprise that human traffickers and even high-end birth tourism
companies are making billions of dollars?
This is not by accident – it’s by design.
In fact, the Obama State Department changed U.S. visa rules to explicitly
allow women to travel to America for the purpose of giving birth in 2015!
Thankfully, the Trump administration overturned this rule and pushed back on
illegal immigration on a number of fronts.
But Trump can’t do it alone.

Fortunately, grassroots organizing is what NumbersUSA does best.
Over the past thirty years, we’ve grown from a small staff into the largest
single-issue advocacy group in the United States.
Back in 1996, we pioneered the tactic of masses of grassroots voters faxing
elected officials directly.
In 2007, when Ted Kennedy (remember him?) was trying to grant amnesty to
millions of illegal aliens, NumbersUSA mobilized citizens in such numbers that
they shut down the Congressional switchboard.
The New York Times “blamed” NumbersUSA as the key factor in blocking
Kennedy’s decades-long mass amnesty dream.
It was a real David-and-Goliath struggle, and we won.
Fast forward to 2025, and our populist immigration position is gaining
traction in Washington.
The DC power brokers are now calling us when they need to mobilize
America-First patriots across the country.
To be clear, that’s not because they want to talk to me, Roy Beck.
It’s because they know that NumbersUSA is the connection point for 8 million
members who understand how our immigration system is utterly broken...
...and what it will take to fix it.
We’ve never had a President like Donald Trump who gets this issue on such a
visceral level.
But it takes more than just one man to reverse this open borders insanity. He
needs a lot of congressional action to back him up and to make improvements
permanent.
In our decades on Capitol Hill, we have learned that nothing grabs attention
like fired-up American patriots just like you.
And there’s no denying the impact when a mountain of responses pours in from
across the country.
It proves that the immigration action we’re calling for isn’t just coming from
me and the great folks at NumbersUSA—no, it’s the unmistakable DEMAND of the
American people.
And at that point, a politician doesn’t need one ounce of courage.
Just a pinch of common sense will be enough to realize that voting against the
American people is a “one-way ticket to Palookaville.”
That’s how you take a nationwide network of Patriots and turn it into
victories at the ballot box, in Congress, and for generations of Americans to
come.
That’s what NumbersUSA is all about.
We have the experience, we have the playbook, but we need your help to
execute on Birthright Citizenship and many other key immigration issues.
Since we don’t take a penny from dark money, corrupt NGOs, or the government,
we rely on patriots just like you to transform our vision into concrete action.
So after you fill out your survey, please make a generous donation of $35,
$50, $100 or even as much as $500 or $1,000.
<[link removed]>
If you can’t make a larger donation at this time, I hope you’ll just cover the
cost to process your survey—$3.91.
We’ve run enough of these campaigns on Capitol Hill to know that it takes a
veritable army of American patriots to get through to these elected officials.
And the only way to assemble an army is with a call that goes out all across
the nation.
Your completed survey and your donation will be an indisputable sign that the
time for change has come.

Thank you and God bless you today!
