Dear friend,
We’re thrilled to collaborate with the North American Syringe Exchange Network (NASEN) and RTI International on an upcoming free webinar highlighting the results from the National Survey of Syringe Services Programs (NSSSP)!
The webinar, “From the Ground Up: SSP Voices & Data from the National Survey of Syringe Services Programs,” is happening Wednesday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. PT/1 p.m. to 2 p.m. ET.
Speakers include: Lynn Wenger, Sheila Patel, and Ivette Rodriguez-Borja of RTI International, Sam Wu of SPARC Center, Stephanie Prohaska of Tacoma Needle Exchange, Kimberly Wallace of Transforming Reentry Services, and Rebecca Smith of Jessamine County Health Department.
We’ll cover collaborating with people with lived and living experience on program development and operations, high-volume and variety of equipment distribution by community-based organizations, integration of vaccine and testing services by departments of health, and SSPs addressing participants’ basic needs through additional services.

We hope you’ll join us to hear from SSP leaders about their experiences providing services and engage in conversation about what it is like to do life-saving harm reduction work across the U.S. today!
