Friend, I'm in between meetings with lawmakers
on Capitol Hill, but I wanted to take a moment to update you.Â
Today, I'm here with TPL advocates and volunteers from across
the country, speaking directly with members of Congress about the
Public Lands in Public Hands Act.
One thing is clear: Special interest groups are pushing hard to strip
away protections for public lands, opening the door to development. We
can't let that happen. This is a pivotal moment, and we need to
stand strong to keep public lands in public hands-for good.
Congress needs to know where you stand. Will you send a message to
your elected officials today to ensure our shared lands aren't
sold, developed, or closed to the public?Â

TAKE ACTION

Our public lands-national parks, forests, and open
spaces-are meant for everyone to enjoy, but without strong
protections, access to these spaces could disappear forever.
Decisions made now will shape our public lands for generations to
come. Urge your members of Congress to keep public lands in public
hands today!

Thank you for adding your voice to ours as we meet with legislators in
Washington, DC. Â
