The title of his new song? Heil Hitler. We aren’t kidding. You’d think a song glorifying Adolf Hitler wouldn’t get much traction online. But Trump’s other good friend, Elon Musk, has made sure it’s seen all over his social media site X (formerly Twitter). Studies have shown a massive uptick in hate speech and racial slurs on Musk’s social media site following his takeover. It is also reported that Musk purposefully altered the formula that decides what content people see on the site - increasing the amount of extremist rightwing propaganda Americans are exposed to. Elon’s use of his social media platform to propagate hate online, Kanye West trying to make Nazis cool, and Trump’s actions as president are all part of MAGA’s efforts to normalize fascism in America. Right now, the water is boiling hot as fascism rises - and our leaders in the Democratic Party fail to realize the gravity of this situation.
