Hi friend,
The world feels tumultuous right now.
The trade war that Trump unleashed is another blow to the 54 countries in debt crisis, and climate disasters continue to push lower-income countries further into debt.
But there is hope, friend.
This year is a Jubilee Year, a once in a generation opportunity to demand debt cancellation. That’s why we’ve teamed up with over twenty other organisations as part of the ‘Cancel Debt Choose Hope’ campaign.
On Thursday 15th May 6.30-8.00pm we’ll be joined by campaigners and activists in Zimbabwe and Malawi to hear about collective resistance this Jubilee Year.
Please join us and book your ticket now!

There is no better time - this summer, thousands of people globally will be protesting at key international meetings while decision-makers discuss the response to the twin issues of debt and climate. Here in the UK, we have a key role to play as 90% of the debts owed by lower-income countries to private lenders are overseen by UK law.
