When I graduated from law school, I did so with a deep belief in the power of the law to create a fairer and more just society.

I saw the courts as tools to defend people’s rights, protect the vulnerable, and strengthen our democracy. That’s what led me to public service — and it’s what keeps me fighting every single day.

But right now, Donald Trump is doing everything he can to dismantle the very foundation of our democracy. He’s attacking the rule of law, undermining our democratic institutions, and surrounding himself with billionaire loyalists who put his power above the Constitution.

I cannot stress this enough: The Trump administration is a direct threat to the American experiment.
