Here’s an update on what Tammy is working on in the Senate:

• Tammy helped introduce the CIVIL Act, which would ensure that the military is not weaponized by the President of the United States to stop Americans from exercising their First Amendment rights, peacefully protesting in their communities, and calling for racial justice;


• She joined Senators Cory Booker and Kamala Harris in introducing the Justice in Policing Act of 2020 — the first-ever comprehensive approach to hold police accountable and change the culture of policing in our communities;


• She also joined 25 of her colleagues in demanding a federal investigation into racially discriminatory and violent policing at the Minneapolis Police Department.

Every day she’s in the Senate, Tammy works her heart out to bring about the much-needed change that will help — not hurt — ordinary Americans and hold our leaders accountable. But she cannot walk this path alone.
