Republicans just swung straight at the heart of our climate progress, John.
The GOP said they would take a scalpel to clean energy tax credits — instead, they used a sledgehammer. Their just-released tax plan will not only chip away at the Inflation Reduction Act, but demolish key incentives for electric vehicles, advanced manufacturing, and zero-emission energy. This will unravel one of the biggest climate investments in U.S. history.
But SEEC Vice Chair Don Beyer (VA-8) isn’t letting them do it quietly. As a member of the Ways and Means Committee, he’s sounding the alarm and fighting back against their most aggressive rollback attempt yet. Will you rush a donation of $15 to support his fight? [[link removed]]

Let’s be clear: as much as Republicans tout being fiscally responsible, we haven’t seen any proof of it yet. They’re trying to rip away tax credits that have created over $400 billion in private-sector investment, including in their own districts.
What’s worse, this plan could pull the rug out from clean energy projects underway, threatening jobs, innovation, and American energy independence. We’ve seen Republican legislators turn their backs on their constituents and country before — and this is no different.
Rep. Don Beyer and SEEC members are standing firm, but to go toe-to-toe with Trump-aligned Republicans, they need backup, John. Will you answer the call to help us protect our clean energy future? [[link removed]]
