My name is Lee Johnson, and I’m running for the United States Senate to retire Lindsey Graham in South Carolina.
I wasn’t born into politics—I was born in a construction family—operating heavy equipment before I could drive. My family taught me how to build things - like roads and bridges - and I’ve carried that with me everywhere: from construction sites and factory floors to boardrooms.
I’m running because Lindsey Graham has forgotten about the people back home. He’s leading the charge to gut Social Security and Medicaid, and now, he backs the chaotic tariffs that are raising prices and cutting paychecks across South Carolina.
We need honest leadership in Washington. I’ll fight to ban members of Congress from profiting off of public service. And I pledge to serve no more than two terms as your Senator, to ensure that our state has fresh, accountable leadership in Congress.
I believe that Washington needs more builders - not dividers. That’s why I’m running for the U.S. Senate - to build an economy that works for everybody, not just the elite few.
Lindsey Graham hasn’t held a town hall in 8 years. He stopped listening, and we’re paying the price.
From building infrastructure, to working on major water and energy projects, to leading major companies - I’ve spent my entire life building things from the ground up and fixing them when they break.
I know how tough it is just to get by right now. Prices are rising. Wages aren’t moving. The gap between the haves and have nots is widening. And politicians in Washington - like Lindsey Graham - have left us behind.
