#FightBackPressForward
Journalism that speaks truth to power requires strength. On June 14, please^, join us for #FightBackPressForward. We are standing up for independent media because our democracy relies on it.

Amid escalating threats to our democratic institutions, disinformation campaigns, and assaults on press freedom, we calling on everyone to come together to fight back—loudly, urgently, and purposefully.

On June 14, we honor our founder, Fighting Bob La Follette, while carrying his legacy forward. As La Follette famously reminded us, democracy is a life that requires continual struggle.

June 14 marks the birth anniversary of two radically different visions of America. The first rooted in integrity, people power, and democratic ideals, represented by Fighting Bob La Follette, and the other molded by corruption, disinformation, and authoritarian ambition, embodied in Donald Trump.

This will not be a birthday parade—instead, we are fighting back against creeping authoritarianism, book bans, election denialism, and an attack on fact-based media. We will continue to press forward with bold investigative journalism, progressive truth-telling, and a free press that will not be intimidated.

Let us raise our voices to support journalism that refuses to back down. Join us, fight back, and press forward!

Please donate anytime through June 14 and help us to rain on Trump’s parade.
