Congress is on the verge of finalizing their budget reconciliation bills, and we may see them move for final votes by the end of May 2025. Current proposals include massive cuts to programs that babies and families rely upon for food, health care and child care, including Medicaid.  

As the largest source of health insurance for children living in poverty, Medicaid helps ensure our little ones can receive developmental screenings, sick and well-child visits, dental care and vaccines, all of which support their long-term health and success in school and life.

When nearly half of all of the nation’s children benefit from a program, it’s hard to imagine what other budget line could be possibly more important.

Contact your members of Congress, and urge them to protect Medicaid today.
