John,
BREAKING: Members of Congress are trying to gut America’s clean energy future to bankroll billionaires.
We’ve been sounding the alarm bells for months about the rumored cuts to Medicaid and social services to the proposed gutting of clean energy tax credits and initiatives. We knew this moment was coming. House Republicans just released a bill text that effectively kills our green economy of the future. But do not despair because we are not giving up without a fight.
We’re going to need your help — if you do one thing in the wake of this news, do this: call your Representative and tell them that green energy is essential in 2025 and beyond.
Released late on Sunday night, the plan would cause millions of Americans to lose Medicaid coverage, make healthcare less affordable, and completely scrap almost all of the environmental progress that has been recently made. Specifically, Republicans in Washington have proposed a whole host of rollbacks that will destroy our green infrastructure advancements including phasing out clean energy tax credits, slashing government support for electric vehicles and renewable energy, and drastically scaling back other climate-related funds.
These cuts are going to do nothing but harm our communities and endanger our climate. Join us in calling on Congress to protect our clean energy jobs, green infrastructure, and low utility costs.

This reckless reconciliation bill will raise energy bills for families, kill hundreds of thousands of good-paying manufacturing jobs, and hobble American companies — right when the cost of living in the U.S. is expected to skyrocket — all to fund massive tax breaks for billionaires. These policies were passed because they are essential for the long-term growth of the U.S. economy and they have become overwhelmingly popular. We should continue to invest in clean energy, not journey backwards.
Got two minutes? Call your Representative and tell them to save our clean energy tax credits — we even wrote a script for you to make it easy.
Make a Call for Clean Energy
There is no Planet B — we must continue to fight for a livable environment — one with clean and renewable energy.
In solidarity,
