BREAKING: Members of Congress are trying to gut America’s clean energy future to bankroll billionaires. 

We’ve been sounding the alarm bells for months about the rumored cuts to Medicaid and social services to the proposed gutting of clean energy tax credits and initiatives. We knew this moment was coming. House Republicans just released a bill text that effectively kills our green economy of the future. But do not despair because we are not giving up without a fight.

Released late on Sunday night, the plan would cause millions of Americans to lose Medicaid coverage, make healthcare less affordable, and completely scrap almost all of the environmental progress that has been recently made. Specifically, Republicans in Washington have proposed a whole host of rollbacks that will destroy our green infrastructure advancements including phasing out clean energy tax credits, slashing government support for electric vehicles and renewable energy, and drastically scaling back other climate-related funds.

These cuts are going to do nothing but harm our communities and endanger our climate. Join us in calling on Congress to protect our clean energy jobs, green infrastructure, and low utility costs.
