Team,

Yesterday, a Michigan court permanently struck down multiple anti-abortion laws that have long stood in the way of people seeking care, including a mandatory 24-hour delay and forced biased counseling.

This is a major victory for reproductive freedom—and it's because of you. [[link removed]]

This didn't happen overnight. It took years of advocacy from voters, providers, students, and supporters like you. [[link removed]] Earlier this year, we took this case to trial and yesterday, a state court ruled that these laws violate the Reproductive Freedom for All amendment passed by Michigan voters in 2022.

"Yesterday's ruling is a monumental win for Michigan abortion providers and their patients. This is exactly what Michiganders wanted when they voted overwhelmingly to protect their right to access abortion. Despite the victory at the ballot box, these baseless abortion restrictions have remained on the books, impeding and humiliating patients seeking care. We will keep fighting to make reproductive freedom for all a reality."
