The Colorado GOP, famous for freaking out about fake rumors that children in "woke" schools were supplied with kitty litter boxes in case they identified as feline, has obviously gone off the far-right deep end. 

But that doesn't mean they aren't organizing, fundraising, and preparing to fight to win key races across the state. 

In fact, they're following the same extremist playbook as other MAGA-led state parties and doubling down on the crazy while also activating an increasingly emboldened right wing fundraising base. 

The Jefferson County (4th-most populous county in CO west of Denver) GOP is holding a fundraiser featuring special guest Kyle Rittenhouse, who gained notoriety for shooting three people in Kenosha, Wisconsin—fatally killing two of them.

Rittenhouse is now a gun rights extremist and far right hobbyhorse, and his name will bring out both the lunatic fringe but also the deep pockets the GOP needs to compete.

This is just one example of what we're up against: far-right lunatics in Colorado aren't giving up, and they aren't moderating—they're doubling down, and we need to meet this moment to stop them before it's too late.
