I wanted to take a minute to personally check in and say thank you for reading these emails, supporting our work, and being in this fight alongside me.

I first ran for Congress in 2017 because I wanted to advocate for a future where our kids can breathe clean air, veterans are treated with dignity, corruption is uprooted, and our democracy actually works for us all.

I decided then and there that I’d run our campaign differently. I’m proud that I’ve never taken a cent of corporate PAC money. I’m accountable to the people I was elected to serve – not special interests.

It’s why our campaign depends on small-dollar donations from supporters like you – chipping in what they can, when they can.

Right now, we’re facing unprecedented early attacks from national Republicans. My extreme opponent was the highest-raising GOP challenger in the country last quarter.

We’re about to hit the halfway point of the current fundraising quarter, and while we’ve made solid progress, my finance director tells me we’re still behind where we need to be to stay on pace.

So if you’ve been thinking about donating to protect this seat and our communities, I hope you’ll take a moment to do so today – and please know that every dollar moves us closer to a Democratic House majority.
