🌈 Volunteer with Equality Virginia at PRIDE events across Virginia! 🌈
Pride season is here –and we’d love your help representing Equality Virginia at festivals across the state! This year, Pride is more than a party (though we love the glitter!) It’s a chance to resist, build community, share resources, and organize for a future where all LGBTQ+ people can thrive. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or are brand new, this is your moment to get plugged in!
We’ll be at the following Prides this season:
Prince William Pride - May 18th | 12-4pm
Portsmouth Pride - June 1st | 11-5pm
Hampton Roads Pride - June 21st | 12-7pm
Pride in the Peake - June 22nd | 10-5pm
Barbells Not Bans (Richmond; benefit event)- June 22nd |10-4pm
Fredericksburg Pride - June 28th | 11-4pm
Black Pride RVA - July 19th | 11-4pm
Charlottesville Pride - September 6th | 12:30-7:30
VA Pride - September 27th | 12-8pm
Staunton Pride - October 11th | 12-5pm
* Volunteer shifts will last 2-2.5 hours depending on event time and volunteer capacity. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for multiple shifts.
