The new CNN poll that shows Joe Biden beating Donald Trump by 14 points nationally has got us feeling better than we have in a while.
So does the president’s approval rating -- it’s at a measly 38%, right in line with where previous one-term presidents Jimmy Carter and George H. W. Bush were before they lost their re-elections.
But apparently, Trump doesn’t feel quite as good about the data, instead demanding that CNN retract the poll and apologize for sharing it -- or else face legal action.
CNN responded by saying it’s the first time in their history they’ve ever been threatened by an American politician -- and that such threats usually come from “countries like Venezuela or other regimes where there is little or no respect for a free and independent media."
