Here is a quick draft of a script I worked up you can use to call your Senators today, although you are welcome to make completely personal statements.
Start with the introductory statement. If desired, choose only one additional comment to include. Do not use more than one to keep the message brief.
Look up your Senator’s office number or Dial 844-228-6422 to connect with the Capitol Switchboard and ask the operator to connect you to your Senators office.
(Definitely include)
Hi, my name is <your name> and I’m calling as a constituent from <city/town> to urge Senator <their name> to support and vote in favor of Bernie Sanders’ Joint Resolutions of Disapproval to block $8.8 billion of new weaponry and equipment to Israel's government while it continues its genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
(Optionally include one)
1. Ongoing Catastrophic Harm to Civilians: Independent human rights and conflict monitors have thoroughly documented the Israeli military’s use of offensive weapons from the United States in attacks that have killed Palestinians. Israel has killed over 50,000 Palestinians, likely a vast undercount (60% are women and children), destroyed every university, damaged, destroyed or entirely blown up hospitals, including the controlled explosion of Gaza’s only cancer center [[link removed](25)00192-5/abstract?rss=yes] , dropped 2000 lb bombs on civilians in tents, carried out field executions [[link removed]] , sniped children in the head, threatened to assassinate journalists and made good on those threats, systematically raped civilians it has taken hostage from Gaza, executed medics and other rescue workers [[link removed].] , attacked the Red Cross headquarters, targeted and assassinated international aid workers, publicly discussed their plan to ethnically cleanse Gaza and displaced 40,000 Palestinians in the West Bank. The list goes on. Israel has taken these actions with weapons and support from the US. Israel has blocked [[link removed].] all food, fuel, medicine and other essential humanitarian aid from entering Gaza since March 2nd. Israeli officials publicly announced that they would do so. Intentionally starving civilians and blocking aid is a war crime. This alone makes supplying weapons to Israel a violation of U.S. law (the Foreign Assistance Act).

2. Stop Violating U.S. Law and Policy: U.S. law prohibits arms transfers to countries that engage in a consistent pattern of gross human rights violations or restrict the delivery of humanitarian aid. Independent monitors have documented severe human rights abuses in Gaza and the obstruction of critical supplies. Continued offensive arms transfers to Israel would violate the Foreign Assistance Act and the Arms Export Control Act.

3. Don’t reward Netanyhu for breaking the U.S.-brokered ceasefire murdering thousands more civilians. Instead of entering phase 2 of the deal, which was agreed to by Israel and Hamas, and would have freed all hostages and seen a withdrawal of IDF from Gaza. On March 18 Israel mounted an all out assault on Gaza, killing 400 Palestinians in what turned out to be one of the largest massacres of children in the past year. Since then, Israel has killed 103 Palestinians per day on average. By stopping these arms sales, Congress would send a clear message that only diplomacy – not more weapons – is the way to bring all hostages home and achieve a peaceful settlement to the violence in Gaza and across the region.

Thank you,
