For years, I worked as an executive in the financial world, managing millions in trades. From the outside, I had it all.
But then I had a conversation with a Marine that changed everything.
He told me that in the brutal heat of Iraq, he couldn’t even get clean socks.
Basic necessities like baby wipes and hygiene items were nowhere to be found.
And worse—when some of his fellow Marines came home with life-changing injuries—there was no one there to help them walk again.
That’s when I knew I had to act.
I initially started a grassroots effort to send socks and essentials to troops overseas. We called it SoldierSocks.
But the more I listened to veterans, the clearer it became: socks weren’t enough.
They needed real help to rebuild their lives.
So we grew into SoldierStrong, and we started delivering the most advanced medical technology on the planet directly to VA hospitals and clinics across the country.
