We just looked at the numbers ahead of our mid-month fundraising deadline, and as of right now, we’re not on track to reach our $25,000 goal before midnight tomorrow.

The truth is, we need to give Senator Warner good news because he knows that this could be his most expensive reelection race ever.

Just look at how much money billionaires spent in the presidential election. It didn’t matter what dark money channel they had to go through or how much it cost, they were virtually willing to spend anything to buy a policy from the Trump administration.

These same folks could very well put up a superPAC against Mark. We’re talking $50 million, $100 million, or even more.

The only way we’re going to counter this opposition money in this race is by reaching every single fundraising goal we set —because these goals aren’t just numbers. They decide whether we can afford to fight back against Republican attack ads, hire more staff, and recruit more volunteers to reach voters across Virginia.

And the way we reach these goals? You.

So we’re not kidding when we say that every single bit helps. Going up against the GOP’s money won’t be easy, but it’s possible—because we know that when we work together and add up those $5 grassroots donations one at a time, we can compete and win.
