👋🏻 Hey John, it’s Rob Sand. I’m Iowa’s State Auditor, a father, husband, skateboarder, bowhunter, and a proud Hawkeye.

AND NOW, I’m coming to you with an exciting announcement 🥁🥁🥁🥁:

I’m running to be the next governor of the great state of Iowa!

This is going to be one of the most competitive elections in the country. And with the Reynolds agenda unpopular and every Republican in lockstep with it, we’ve got an opportunity to do something truly special.

Before I dive into the nitty-gritty details of why I believe I’m the best candidate to lead Iowa forward, I’d like to ask you: Will you split a donation between my grassroots campaign and The Majority Rules to become a Founding Donor today? I’d love to have you on board from the start, John.

Folks who know me know that I’m an open book, and that every chapter starts and ends with Iowa.

I was born and raised in the small town of Decorah, and I’m proud to be raising my family in the greatest state in the country.

Before I was elected State Auditor (twice), I worked as an Assistant Attorney General, where I uncovered and prosecuted the largest lottery scandal in American history.

I’m currently the only statewide elected Democrat in Iowa, and I’m proud to also have the highest approval rating among all statewide officials.

Now, I’m running for governor because for too long, partisan insiders have pushed Iowa in the wrong direction: Our schools are underfunded, jobs and opportunities are leaving the state, and we’re not growing and innovating the way we should be.

I believe that together, we can take Iowa back and make our state a place where families thrive.

I won re-election in 2022 by just a shade under 3,000 votes, so I’m not afraid of a tough race. But even with the winds changing in Iowa, this is going to be an incredibly competitive election.

Recent special election results are proof that Iowans are eager for change and ready to listen. Iowa has had 3 specials this year, and they are the top 3 over-performances by a Democrat in the nation. 

As a team, we are playing to WIN. But I need your help, John, plain and simple. 

Grassroots fundraising is the name of the game, so we need support early to kickstart this campaign and build out our network of supporters throughout Iowa and beyond!

My team tells me we need to bring in 8,000 Founding Donors during the first week of the campaign to show supporters, opponents, and everyone in between that we’re ready to win!
