In New York alone, the Medicaid program spent over $100 Billion last year, which is up an unprecedented 59% under Kathy Hochul's disastrous leadership.
That’s a staggering amount of money and more than Florida and Texas, combined.
State and federal authorities project that 10% of all Medicaid spending is lost to fraud and abuse, with billions more spent providing free health care to illegal immigrants.
Both in New York and nationally, the failure to combat fraud in our public health care programs is damaging our economy and depriving those in need of the quality health care they deserve.
