New York Times Reports: "Trump’s Third Term Talk Defies Constitution and Tests Democracy"
In light of Donald Trump's plan to run for a third term for president, we’re circulating a one-click poll to assess public sentiment. Will you please respond before midnight?
Do you think Donald Trump should be allowed to run for a third term as president?
Section 1 of the 22nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution makes it clear that Donald Trump can’t run for President again.
“No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.”
But despite the cold, hard facts, Trump is still arguing that he can!
