One of the biggest selling books of the year is a self-help tome called "The Let Them Theory" by Mel Robbins. The central theme is that we should stop trying to control others and concentrate on being better individuals.
Now, the last self-help book I bought... wait... I never read one. That's because I am beyond help. I live in a zone of self-reliance using a philosophy based upon Judeo-Christian philosophy and situational ethics, which requires experience, not introspection. So, I don't believe Mel Robbins can help me. Mel Brooks, yes. I need as many laughs as I can get.
