Take a look at this guy:

That’s Roger Stone. He’s a major Trump loyalist. Trump even commuted Stone’s 40-month prison sentence after a jury found that he had broken the law after the 2016 election.

He called for Mark Kelly to be charged with treason and executed last week after Mark introduced a bill to take on Trump’s corruption.

While we’re at it, take a look at this guy:

Elon Musk, richest guy in the world, head of DOGE, and another major Trump loyalist.

Elon called Mark Kelly a traitor to the United States because Mark supports Ukraine (a United States ally) as it defends itself from Russian (not an ally) invasion.

Insinuations of treason and threats of political violence are not welcome in the United States of America. It is not who we are. Full stop.

Unfortunately, threats like these are very real to Mark. He has to take things like this seriously after what happened to Gabby in 2011. It’s a dark reality of political life today, and it is incredibly sad.

But as real as these threats are, they won’t stop Mark from doing the important work of holding the Trump Administration accountable and working to thwart their efforts to tear our democracy apart. Mark is not backing down, and we have to stand by him.
