spoke on the phone with President Trump today, the same day Trump arrived in Saudi Arabia on a four-day visit to the Middle East.
Edan also

spoke with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Herzog told him: "Dear and beloved Edan, welcome home, beloved son of the State of Israel. We’re all so emotional—every home in Israel is emotional right now. We want to thank you. You were there for so long, and we saw the video you sent—we thought about you the whole time. You were in the hearts of half the world."
Netanyahu said, "It’s so good to hear you. We are thrilled—your parents are thrilled—and all of Israel is thrilled. I want you to know that. It’s truly a wonderful moment. How are you feeling?"
"It’s crazy, it’s unbelievable. I’m okay. Weak, but slowly I’ll return to how I was before. It’s just a matter of time," Edan responded.
Netanyahu also spoke with Trump and White House envoy Steve Witkoff and thanked them for securing Edan's release. He told Witkoff, "We deeply appreciate the help you and President Trump have provided. And of course, we also value the commitment of IDF soldiers who are ready to act however necessary if our remaining hostages are not freed. This is a historic moment—thank you."
Witkoff replied, "Mr. Prime Minister, I told Edan and his family about everything you did in recent days to make this happen... Thanks to you, Edan came home to his family today."
Meanwhile, an Israeli negotiating team

left for Qatar today for talks to secure the release of the remaining hostages.
The United States must continue to stand with Israel for as long as it takes and increase the pressure on Hamas and its sponsors in Qatar, Turkey and Iran to release the 58 hostages, including 4 Americans, still held in captivity in Gaza.

airstrike in Gaza targeting Hamas leader Mohammed Sinwar. The strike hit an "underground command and control facility under the European hospital in Khan Younis," the IDF said.
Israel has not confirmed whether or not Sinwar was successfully eliminated.
Mohammed Sinwar is the brother of former and longstanding Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who was killed by the IDF, and one of the key figures in planning the October 7 attack.

New details on ICC prosecutor's illegitimate case against Israel
According to
[link removed]
new reporting in The Jerusalem Post, International Criminal Court (ICC) Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan pursued the baseless and outrageous arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in the hopes that it would compel Western governments to abandon Israel.
A Western diplomat said Khan told him: "You just wait and see. If I apply for warrants against Netanyahu, this would give countries like Germany and Canada the excuse they need to turn against the Israeli government."
Khan has also been accused of sexually assaulting his employees at the ICC, as The Wall Street Journal

reported , and may have sought the arrest warrants against Israel's leaders to protect himself from the sexual assault allegations.
"As the abuse allegations were swirling among ICC staff and others, Khan allegedly tried to get his accuser to disavow them by telling her the charges would hurt the Palestinian investigation, according to her testimony. The casualties of the allegations would include 'the justice of the victims that are on the cusp of progress,' he said to her, according to a record of a call that is now part of an independent U.N. investigation into her allegations. 'Think about the Palestinian arrest warrants,' she said he told her on another occasion, according to the testimony," WSJ

Additional Iran sanctions imposed
The Treasury Department today sanctioned a number of entities involved in "virtually every aspect of Iran’s illicit international oil trade."
"The Iranian government allocates billions of dollars’ worth of oil annually to its armed forces to supplement their budget allocations, underwriting the development of ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as financing regional terrorist groups," Treasury

said in a statement .
"Today’s action underscores our continued focus on intensifying pressure on every aspect of Iran’s oil trade, which the regime uses to fund its dangerous and destabilizing activities," Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said. "The United States will continue targeting this primary source of revenue, so long as the regime continues its support for terrorism and proliferation of deadly weapons."
The United States must continue to increase the pressure on Iran and its terrorist proxies.
