House Republicans’ budget resolution is as cruel as it is predictable. They want to gut Medicaid, striping healthcare from millions of Americans. Chris fully denounces this plan and here's why:

Over 300,000 Delawareans — nearly 1 in 4 people in the First State — rely on Medicaid. If these cuts go through, our state’s four federally qualified community health centers will face serious operational challenges. Chris has spoken directly with healthcare providers, patients, and families across Delaware. This budget would throw them into uncertainty, all so Republicans can justify expanding tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans.

Chris was elected to fight for Delawareans, and this is one of those moments where he’s rolling up his sleeves and putting his foot down. That's why earlier this week, he held a press conference with the rest of the Delaware delegation to call out Donald Trump and the GOP's attacks on Medicaid.

Republicans have wasted months trying to patch together a plan that in no way benefits the people they're supposed to serve.
