Just as Republicans in Congress plan to cut Medicaid and food assistance by $1 trillion, Donald Trump is accepting a $400 million luxury jet from the Qatari government.

While Trump enriches himself through corrupt bargains with foreign governments, he and his GOP lackeys in Congress are slashing funds for vital programs and services that everyday Americans rely on, including:

• Gutting Social Security and Medicare — putting your retirement and health at risk
• Defunding public education, housing, and climate programs — making it harder for our children to build their lives
