John,
Last week, we found out that my opponent, Winsome Earle-Sears, left a note on the legislature's proposed constitutional amendment to protect reproductive freedom — a handwritten message that tells you everything about where she stands on the issue (mind you, she’s not required to leave any comments).
Above her signature, she wrote: “I am morally opposed to this bill.”
Let’s be clear: this bill would protect access to abortion, contraception, and IVF in Virginia. That’s what she’s “morally opposed” to.
Winsome Earle-Sears has made her position clear, and if she becomes Virginia’s next Governor, she won’t just be writing notes. She’ll be signing bills into law that strip away our fundamental freedoms.
We’re not going to let that happen.
I’m running for Governor because Virginians deserve leaders who will protect their rights, not undermine them. But I need your help to show we have the grassroots strength to flip this seat.
Will you contribute today to help us build the strongest possible campaign to defeat Winsome Earle-Sears and protect reproductive freedom in Virginia?

Thank you,
Abigail Spanberger
