After winning his senate seat in 2022 off the backs of his progressive base, Fetterman has gone from progressive darling to genocidal AIPAC puppet. Earlier this year in March, Fetterman made a trip to Israel to meet with war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu where the Israeli Prime Minister gifted him a silver pager - a reference glorifying Israel’s indiscriminate terrorist attack in Lebanon that used explosives planted in pagers - which killed innocent civilians including children. Fetterman accepted the gift proudly.
Fetterman’s actions and words are something you would expect from a MAGA Republican, not from a man whose career was built off the backs of progressive organizers and activists. But this type of heel turn is becoming far too common in the Democratic Party, with democrats time and time again ditching their progressive values for AIPAC campaign cash.
That is why Clean Up the Caucus is doing the work that few organizations have the guts to do - exposing the progressives in the House Progressive Caucus who are selling out their values and supporting the genocide of Palestinians - but who are better at hiding it than Fetterman.
