Recently, we kicked off our re-election campaign — an event that served not only as an important milestone but as a reminder of everything that’s at stake.

Now more than ever, it’s critical that we step up our fundraising efforts to show our four challengers that our movement for progress is only beginning.

I first ran for Congress to give a voice to issues that were largely being ignored or dismissed in the halls of Congress: Our country’s broken for-profit health care system, the debilitating cost of higher education, and immigrant and worker rights.

And since our movement came to the House in 2017, we’ve helped put these topics front and center while making huge strides towards creating an America that lifts up everyone, not just those at the top. We’ve come a long way, and we can make more progress than we ever thought possible if we keep pushing.
