Hi John,
We’re Indira Duggirala and Scott Mangino, the first and second Vice Chairs of the Colorado Democratic Party. Alongside our Chair, Shad Murib, we’ve worked to build a community that includes as many Colorado voices as possible.
Despite national trends, we’ve been fortunate to see progress here in Colorado. You can read more about our work below, but first, will you consider pitching in to help continue powering our party forward? [[link removed]]

In 2024, while the rest of the country swung to the right, Colorado stood apart. Nearly half of our counties moved toward Democrats. We kept our majorities in the state legislature and competed aggressively in local contests in urban, suburban, and rural communities.
This wasn’t by chance—it was thanks to years of hard work, outreach, and community engagement.
The past few years have been our party’s most financially successful, raising record-breaking dollars while cutting unnecessary spending. We’ve been able to invest those resources into our battleground areas and grassroots community.
The Horizon Project, a deep-canvassing program in CO-08, helped us achieve an incredible 15% increase in low-turnout Democrats, and our Colorado County Comeback, where we directly invested $50,000 in nineteen rural and Republican-leaning county parties, was an unprecedented investment in local parties.
While we can point to progress, it’s obvious we’ve got more work to do. Too many Americans see the Republican Party as the party of the working class, while the Democratic Party represents the out-of-touch elites. We know this to be fundamentally untrue, and we must work to regain trust and grow our strength into the future.
We’re redesigning, rebuilding, and reclaiming from the grassroots on up. Right now, we’re building initiatives that will help us recruit new leaders—precinct by precinct—into our party, compete in races at every level and in every corner of our state, and importantly, bring back the power of positivity, a good attitude, and unity to our politics.
John, we are counting on supporters like you to be right there with us as we do this work throughout 2025, in 2026, and beyond. If you can, please contribute today. Every donation—no matter how big or small—makes a difference. >> [[link removed]]
