John,
Throughout the legislative session, Montana Democrats wrote countless bills that would make it easier to buy a house, start a family, and keep our communities safe. Republicans voted all of them down.
We’ll explain in more detail below, but first: Will you chip in right now to help us elect more Montana Democrats next year? With your help, we can elect a majority that works for all Montanans, not just themselves.
John, here’s just a handful of the commonsense legislation Montana Republicans killed:
- HB 154 and 155, bills that would have provided an income tax credit to homeowners and renters earning less than $150,000 and restructured property taxes to reduce rates for middle-class Montanans.
- HB 484, which would have raised Montana’s minimum wage from $10.55 an hour to $12.06 an hour
- HB 565, which would have required insurance companies to cover IVF treatment and infertility care.
- SB 312, which would have eliminated the statute of limitations for child sex crimes to ensure predators are held accountable.
John, these are commonsense policies that a majority of Montanans support. So why did Montana Republicans vote them down? Because they don’t care about benefiting our state — only themselves.
It’s beyond clear that we need new leadership in Helena. Please, chip in today to help Montana Democrats take on do-nothing Republicans in the next election and deliver real progress to families across the state.
