Friend — Republicans’ billionaire handout bill is leaving us stunned as it makes its way through congressional committees this week. This is the “big, beautiful bill” Trump promised during his campaign, and we won’t mince words: what’s on the table is worse than we’d imagined.

If MAGA Republicans get their way, Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” would mean MASSIVE cuts to clean energy, throwing open public lands and waters to corporate polluters, and an end to environmental safeguards that keep our air, water, and communities safe and healthy.

“If Big Oil, Wall Street, and MAGA cultists locked themselves in a room to write a wish list, this bill would be it. The Republican budget is the most destructive environmental bill in American history.”

Details from Republicans’ negotiations are emerging now. We just got word from the House Natural Resources Committee that their legislation would:
- Dramatically ramp up dirty energy in the U.S. by mandating even more oil and gas lease sales, contaminating the air and water that communities and wildlife depend on.
- Endanger unique marine and coastal ecosystems by offering new offshore drilling leases in the Western Gulf of Mexico, and reopening leases in Alaska's vulnerable Cook Inlet, home to endangered Beluga whales.
- Allow corporate polluters to skip essential environmental reviews and permits for the right price, creating a “pay-to-play” scheme that allows oil, gas, mineral, and commercial logging companies to play by their own set of rules.

Republicans’ anti-environment agenda is unpopular, and their chance of passing it is hanging on by a thread. With your support, we can beat their worst attacks.

Don’t miss this opportunity to fight back, Friend.
