Most folks don’t know this, but unlike a number of other members of Congress, I don’t come from big money.

I’m okay with that. I don’t need the third house, or the fifth yacht. And neither do my neighbors.

It’s the folks who sit around the kitchen table every week making sure the family budget works who need help. That’s a big reason I’m in Congress today.

It’s my job to make policy that works for us, the real people -- not the elites.

That’s why I’m working to:

• Stop Republicans from passing a $230 billion cut to SNAP, which would harm over 2 million people in our state alone
• Protect small businesses from Trump’s reckless tariffs that threaten their ability to stay afloat
• Pass a Farm Bill that works for our farmers
• And so much more

Ultimately, this is a campaign powered by the people and for the people of North and West Illinois, and together we can keep it that way. That’s why I’m asking:
