On May 1st, the Department of Health and Human Services released an over-400-page document at Trump’s behest outlining the government’s anti-science agenda against trans people, specifically trans children. This report lacks a rigorous review of evidence, nor does it reflect current medical consensus—it is, plainly, an ideological document created to mislead the public.

This administration will use this document to further its goals of eliminating trans healthcare. However, it is not a law, nor is it legislation. We now know this administration’s playbook, and we will rip it apart when they try to use it.
