We can’t stay silent, John.
Donald Trump just signed an executive order that would make it HARDER to register to vote, give him even more POWER over our elections, and SUPPRESS our votes.
It’s undemocratic. It’s un-American. And we can’t let him get away with it, John.
Together, we can OVERCOME Trump’s voter suppression and help ensure that EVERY voter’s voice is heard. But that takes resources – and most Democrats spent down our funds in the last election. So we need to refill our coffers ASAP to be able to rush resources to must-win battleground districts that will decide if MAGA Republican extremists continue to control the House – and determine the future of our Democracy itself. Please John, I wouldn’t ask unless it was urgent. During his first months in office, Donald Trump has done EVERYTHING he can to expand his power.
He has tried to undermine Congress’ power of the purse – Democrats are fighting back in the courts.
He has tried to crush our vital safety net initiatives – specifically focusing on cutting Medicaid by $880 billion and harming the infrastructure of Social Security, which can impact the ability of recipients to access their own money.
He has targeted ActBlue to try to stop grassroots Democrats from donating – to weaken our opposition to his lawless overreach.
He even likened himself to a “KING” – and mused about being the next Pope as more than one billion Catholics across the globe mourned our beloved Pope Francis.
And now, he’s going after YOUR right to vote.
Together, we can send Trump and Republicans a RESOUNDING message that we’ll NEVER let him get away with it – but only if we FLIP the House to put a check on his power with Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker instead of Mike Johnson who does his bidding. But John, that takes resources – a lot of resources. So I’m asking one final time if you’ll join 2,314 Democrats and chip in $15 – or whatever you can spare – to help us DEFEAT anti-Democracy Republicans, FLIP the House, and put a Democratic CHECK on Trump’s power.
