I’m running for the U.S. Senate in South Carolina because, now more than ever, we need leaders -- not followers.
DemocratsJoin us.

We are all hurting right now because of the pain caused by racial injustice, economic injustice, and this pandemic. But we must use the moment to come together -- to truly unify -- and make real, meaningful change. Part of that change includes electing leaders in November who will fight for our Democratic values.

I’m running for the U.S. Senate in South Carolina because, now more than ever, we need officials in Washington who are willing to lead instead of follow. My opponent, Lindsey Graham, went from being one of Donald Trump’s biggest critics to one of his biggest supporters -- just to score a seat on Air Force One. Just last week, Trump tweeted out his endorsement of Graham. Right now, the American people need someone in Washington who will hold the powerful accountable. We need real leadership.

I believe in the promise of America, but when that promise falls short, we must recommit ourselves and come together. Following through on that commitment will take hard work and strong leadership, and it'll take a strong DNC to support Democrats in tough races up and down the ballot, like mine.

Now that we’re in the thick of the general election, Democratic candidates like me are counting on supporters like you to power us to victory. Will you split a $10 donation between my campaign and the DNC today?

I know we can get our country back on track, John. We can make a better future for children like my two sons. But to do that we need to elect Democrats at every level, from the school board to the White House, and give them the majorities we’ll need to enact real change.

It’s clear that Lindsey Graham’s convictions change with the political winds, and he is simply not putting working families in South Carolina and across the nation first. I'm running to be better than that. When I’m elected to the U.S. Senate, I promise to put the best interests of our country above partisanship and political theatrics.

Please split a $10 contribution between my campaign for the U.S. Senate and the DNC. I'm counting on early support from people like you to help me defeat Lindsey Graham and flip the Senate blue.

Thanks for reading and stay safe,

Jaime
