First, Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful moms out there — the true backbone of our families and communities. We are so grateful for the strength, love, and leadership you give every single day.

Meanwhile in Sacramento, Assembly Bill 379 made headlines — and not for the right reasons. Originally sought to make soliciting sex from 16- and 17-year-olds a felony, had its key provisions stripped — sparking outrage. Thankfully, after strong public backlash, the felony charges have now been reinstated. This is a reminder that our voices matter, and we must stay engaged to protect our children and our values.

As the weather heats up, many of us would normally be heading to the beach — but sadly, continued sewage spills and algae blooms are threatening our coastline and marine life. It’s another example of how poor leadership affects every corner of our state, from our cities to our natural treasures.

Finally, as we head into Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who laid down their lives for our freedom. Our veterans are the best of America, and we owe them a debt we can never fully repay.

May is a time of hope, action, and gratitude. Let’s make the most of it together!

Honoring YR Moms

Yesterday, we celebrated Mother’s Day — and today, we’re still feeling extra grateful for the incredible moms who have shaped, supported, and inspired us. 💖

Whether they raised us, mentored us, or simply showed us what it means to lead with love and strength, these amazing women are the true backbone of our families, our communities, and our movement.

Here’s to our YR moms — past, present, and future — whose impact will always be bigger than we can ever fully put into words. Thank you for everything! 🌷

Sponsor Spotlight!

When it comes to getting things DONE, nobody does it quite like Karen Sewell from Pat Nixon Republican Women Federated!

Karen didn’t just talk about supporting OCYR — she made it happen, raising over $500 for our club at her event. She’s a proud OCYR sponsor, a fierce advocate for conservative values, and now officially the https://ocgop.org/ Volunteer of the Year — because when Karen steps in, things move.

With her quick wit, unstoppable energy, and a little bit of sass (okay, a LOT of sass), Karen shows us what real grassroots power looks like. Thank you, Karen, for being a rockstar for OCYR and the entire Republican family. We’re lucky to have your fire on our side! 🔥

Healthy YRs

Big shoutout to Plum’s Café — a local favorite that’s doing it right! 🌟

We just learned they don’t cook with toxic seed oils — meaning you can enjoy delicious brunch favorites without the hidden health hazards. 🙌

At Healthy YRs, we believe small choices lead to big impacts — and supporting businesses that prioritize real, clean ingredients is one way we stand up for better living. Thank you, Plum’s, for keeping it healthy and tasty!

Next time you’re craving a brunch spot you can trust, you know where to go. 🍳🥑☕

YRs Give Back

Orange County Young Republicans and Log Cabin Republicans of Orange County came together for a hands-on volunteer event at Foster Love in Brea.

We decorated panels for duffel bags that will be given to foster kids — offering them something personal and meaningful as they move from place to place.

Each bag is a reminder that they are seen, valued, and loved.

Thank you to everyone who showed up to make a difference!
