On May 1, DSA-LA marched with thousands of other Angelenos to stand up for the rights of workers, immigrants, tenants, and everyone threatened by Trump and the oligarchs that support him.

May Day, a holiday with deep radical roots, shows us that when workers unite, we can make history and control our shared future. We need you to continue this struggle year-round by giving to DSA-LA.

Simply put, our fight needs funds. For example:

• $25 can feed five people on strike for better working conditions
• $50 can host a dozen comrades meeting to advocate for fair rent in LA
• $100 can print a thousand “Know Your Rights” cards to protect our neighbors against ICE

And any amount of money can be put to good use!

In the crush of trying to make it day to day, it can feel like the world and even our time belongs to “the man” or “the powers that be.” May Day reminds us that we own our lives — not the bosses. We have the power to make May Day, every day.
