It’s no big secret that Americans’ trust in the federal government has been declining steadily. And who can blame them? For years, hardworking families have watched Donald Trump direct taxpayer money to his own properties, enrich his MAGA allies, and personally profit off a shady cryptocurrency scheme.

Look, building an effective government starts with building trust in government. And the best way to build that trust? Hold wrongdoers accountable.

That’s why I’ve proudly gone toe-to-toe with Trump since my first day in office, serving as a voice for transparency in government on the House Oversight Committee.
