And we’re introducing our first targets...

We’re gaining traction, John!

Axios has reported the launch of our PAC in response to all the help we’ve received from our supporters. That’s right — you, and a national community of people like you who are sick of corruption, made this possible.

axios reports on ban the trade

Members of Congress have access to privileged information, and the ability to vote in a way that serves their own financial interests over those of everyday Americans. That’s why we started Ban The Trade— to challenge those who abuse their power to enrich themselves and pass legislation to ban congressional stock trading completely.

That’s why, today, we’re announcing our first targets:

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.)
Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.)
Rep. John James (R-Mich.)

These three Congresspeople represent some of the worst in Washington, selling out their constituents to line their own pockets. We’re looking forward to hearing from anti-corruption candidates who are willing to step up and challenge them.

We need to sustain this traction over the coming months to challenge corruption in Congress. Can you make a recurring contribution today?

In the meantime, we will continue to support The End Congressional Stock Trading Act, a bipartisan bill recently introduced in Congress. We’re continuing to put pressure on members of Congress to send it to the floor for a vote, and we’ll continue to circulate our petition until we have enough signatures to send it to the Hill.

With your continued support, we’ll be able to circulate our petition supporting the End Congressional Stock Trading Act to new audiences and gear up for a fight in three critical House races. Can you fuel our fight against this corruption today with a recurring contribution?

Grateful for your support,

— Ban The Trade

P.S. If you’re not able to make a recurring contribution today, could you please make a one-time donation to sustain our mission and ban congressional stock trading once and for all? We appreciate it!
