Dear Democrats,

Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican Party made a big promise: a booming economy on day one. Not day two, not week six—day one.

He said your 401(k) would shoot up, prices would drop, and jobs would flood in.
Well… it’s been 104 days. So, how’s that going?

The S&P 500? Down
Dow Jones? Down
Nasdaq? Down

Eggs? Up from $2.98 this time last year to over $6 a dozen. Unless they come with a toy and a breakfast burrito, that’s not a good deal.

Job growth? Gains down over 50%, while layoffs at record high and stacking up faster than Trump bankruptcies.

And what are Republicans doing in response to all this? They’re trying to slash:

$674 million from Medicare and Medicaid Services program management
$4.5 billion from K-12 education
$26 billion from rental assistance

And yes, they’re coming for Social Security next—because nothing says “economic genius” like torching your retirement and your grandkid’s classroom.

Trump told us to expect a booming economy. Now he’s telling people to skip Christmas gifts. I don’t know what’s sadder—the economy, or the fact that Trump Steaks lasted longer than this recovery.

This is more than bad policy. It’s cruel, it’s reckless, and it’s hurting real people.

We can’t afford to sit this one out. At the Democratic Party of New Mexico, we’re organizing to hold Trump and his enablers accountable. We’re talking to voters, knocking doors, and telling the truth that Donald Trump does not care about working people—only the ultra-wealthy and ultra-loyal.
