5,771 days, John.
It’s been 5,771 days since Pennsylvania last raised the minimum wage. That’s nearly 16 years of workers being told to wait their turn while rent, groceries, and basic necessities get more expensive by the day.
The people earning Pennsylvania’s minimum wage aren’t teenagers with summer jobs. They’re people who look like you and me: they’re raising kids, heads of households, Pennsylvanians working full-time jobs. If you agree that all Pennsylvanians deserve a shot at making good money – at providing for their family – will you chip in $15? [[link removed]]

House Democrats passed a bill to raise the wage, but Republican leaders in the Senate refused to even bring it up for a vote. As elected representatives, we are meant to solve problems for Pennsylvanians, not cause them. House Democrats are taking another stand to raise wages, but we can’t do it alone.
Raising the minimum wage isn’t just good economics – it’s about dignity, justice, and making sure no one in our Commonwealth is told to "work harder" while scraping by on $7.25 an hour. Will you join me by chipping in $15 to help us raise the minimum wage to $15? [[link removed]]

We have the momentum. Now we need the resources to finish the job. I’m ready to lead that fight – but I need you with me, John.
Thank you,
Speaker Joanna McClinton
