Radical Democrats and the mainstream media will stop at NOTHING as they
attempt to convince Americans that our police officers are villains instead of
the heroes they truly are.


Radical liberals are trying to take our country down a dangerous path of
attacking and vilifying the brave men and women in blue who are willing to lay
down their lives for their communities  every time they put on their uniform.


That’s why I say that we must DEFEND – not defund – our police departments.

Large cities like Seattle and New York are already discussing major funding
cuts to their police departments, and it could happen in our Upstate cities –
From Binghamton to Utica – if we don’t take a stand today.


It’s impossible to overstate just how pivotal this moment is for the future of
our nation. 


The decisions that our local, state, and federal governments make today in
response to the unrest we’ve seen in recent weeks have the potential to affect
our country for generations to come.


Our communities are starving for both police accountability and public safety
– but defunding our police departments will only make it more difficult to
achieve those goals.
