John,
Maine Gov. Janet Mills didn't lie — she saw Donald Trump in court and she WON.
Gov. Mills refused to comply with Trump's order barring Maine trans kids from playing sports. Consequently, the U.S. Department of Agriculture suspended all funding for a child nutrition program in Maine. It was petty, political revenge.
So, Gov. Mills took the Trump administration to court — ultimately securing a huge victory earlier this month when the Trump administration backed down and stopped cutting off funding for Maine's nutrition program.
We need more leaders like Gov. Mills. Bullies back down when you fight back.
