I believe healthcare is a human right.

Republicans, however, are happy to kick millions of Americans off their healthcare plans to pay for tax-cuts for the super-rich.

It’s going to be an intense week in Congress as the GOP works to push through their bill that would cut hundreds of millions of dollars from Medicaid.

Their plan would be a disaster that would worsen income inequality in America and take us even farther from the goal of universal healthcare coverage. Hospitals could shut down, families will go broke, and people will almost certainly die without their coverage.

I’m opposing these cruel attacks on Medicaid with everything I’ve got. But I need your help.

In order to block these cuts, we need just a handful of Republican members of Congress in swing districts to feel the pressure and vote against them. Remember, Speaker Johnson currently controls one of the slimmest House majorities in modern history.

So I’m asking you: Can you sign my petition today calling on Congress to do the right thing and save the Medicaid plans that millions of Americans depend on? Add your name and help us put pressure on key House members who will decide whether Medicaid is protected or slashed.
