But Mark has just been challenged by Scott Taylor, a former Republican congressman who voted with Donald Trump 98 percent of the time. What’s more, Taylor has been backed by the deep-pocketed Koch brothers.

That makes this race a must-win. If we’re going to keep Mark in the Senate — where he’s been fighting to investigate foreign interference in our elections, protect our health care, and ensure an economy that works for everyone — we all need to step up right now.

In his 2014 election, Mark won his race by less than one percent. We can’t take any chances in 2020 — control of the Senate is far too important.

If Scott Taylor wins, he’ll work to push through even more unqualified judges and support Trump’s efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act. But if we re-elect Mark and flip the Senate, we’ll have an important check on the Trump administration’s corruption and be able to advance policies that actually help people — like improved access to health care and protections for workers in the gig economy.
